Pecs For Days

Having a muscular chest is one of the most masculine things you can do. It promotes virility, poise, and an air of confidence. Besides, it makes clothes look awesome on you as well as off, so if you're a man, you should be working out your chest. Building pecs for days is pretty much the reason people start bodybuilding, and that can be REALLY expensive. You can still have a rocking bod on a craigslist budget. Just get a set of used dumbbells. While you can get a good exercise from push-ups, you'll eventually need to get at least a set of dumbbells, as they greatly expand your workout options. Your muscles don't know if you're lifting a cinder-block in a prison yard due to an unsavory run in with an FBI agent, or paying $10,000 a week for the top celebrity trainer. You don't really even need a bench, and they are easy to store. One of the biggest mistakes people make is ONLY doing the bench press. You shouldn't only be pushing your chest, but squeezing it too, like in dumbbell flys. Once you find a routine that works for you, make sure you stick to it, working out about 5 days a week. After about 6 months you should start seeing results, and that's the best part. If you continue, your chest will become even more defined.
In the end, your primary focus of any fitness routine should be overall health, and focus on full body training and proper fitness. It’s not possible to have a healthy mind without a healthy body.

You can check out all the proper techniques and equipment here, as they go much more into detail and are more knowledgeable about the subject than myself. Stay fit!

Growing A Beard

Growing a beard isn’t necessarily as easy as it sounds, mostly because you have to not shave anything for at least 4 weeks before you begin shaping it. My decision is coming from a deep hatred of shaving since I started. I’ve almost never been “clean shaven” because my skin is so sensitive, or accidentally shave my mole off (it’s happened to me twice), but have only gotten close to a full beard once, and it was the unkempt look of my face that sent me running for the clippers. NO MORE I SAY, I am growing my beard out once and for all, and I’m treating it like a birthright, and I think you should join me.

Besides, if you’re on this blog, you’re probably looking for ways to be healthy, and one of those ways is to LOOK healthy, and what looks more healthy then a thick, full beard?

I mean, why not grow a beard? Beards are sweet, and make you look awesome. It’s almost our duty as men to grow out our facial hair. Women wear makeup, and men grow beards. They can make you more attractive, as well as command respect. One of the things about my new beard I’m anticipating is seeing if people treat me any differently.

No matter how much we progress in gender equality, beard growing will remain a masculine trait shared with only a few unfortunate women. Think back to some of the revered men in history, and you will find a long legacy of facial hair.

In the end, growing a beard is a personal choice.  Maybe you are one of those unfortunate man souls that remains mostly hairless your whole life. Maybe get some brown mascara to put on your facial hair so you don’t look so much like a pre-teen growing his first mustache. However if you KNOW you can grow a life-changing beard, you should STOP SHAVING NOW. If you would like to know more about allowing your beard to reach full potential, visit beards.org

Foods To Change Your Mood

For some reason, we separate our mind from everything that is going on with our body, looking for external fixes in the form of drugs, legal or illegal. We feel sapped of energy, so we have an energy drink, we feel sad, so we take an antidepressant. These tfeelings are actually are body trying to tell us something, and it’s usually “FEED ME”. Food is almost the only medicine you will ever need, as long as you take an active role in paying attention to what you’re putting into your body. So the next time your feeling sleepy or anxious, try a food cure first. Here is a list of common feelings we all have, and how food can help you regain control.

Stress- Chocolate
If everything is coming at you at once, and you’re sitting at your desk pondering how much more money a medical assistant salary would be and you are on the verge of loosing it, take the time and eat some chocolate, especially dark chocolate. It’s more than just delicious and relaxing, it’s actually reducing  the stress-causing hormones cortisol and catecholamines in your body.

Lethargy - Spinach
Stay away from the coffee, and eat some fresh spinach. It’s delicious and so good for you. Also studies have shown that foods high in folic acid helps your body regulate homocysteine levels
which can effect the flow of nutrients to the brain, causing you to feel sleepy.

Irritable- Apple with peanut butter
This is combining complex and simple carbohydrates. The apple is complex, breaking down slower giving you more sustained energy, while the peanut butter is healthy fat carbs, which give you an initial fast burning burst of energy. It’s like two in one shampoo and conditioner, only for your soul.

Anxiety- Salmon
Salmon is a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, which has shown to be a great preventative measure against depression and anxiety and even anger. Salmon in my opinion is the most delicious, but any coldwater fish will do.

Anger- Green tea
Green tea contains theanine, which has shown to keep you calm and retain mental clarity, and it’s got less caffeine than coffee, so you won’t go into an over caffeinated rage when someone looks at you the wrong way.

The most important thing to remember is to listen to your body, something you think is a mild inconvenience that a pill can take away is probably your body trying to tell you something important, and we only get this one.

Easy At Home Fitness

We all know we should be exercising, yet people still find a wide variety of excuses not to. Personal fitness takes commitment to consistency, and a little bit of education. Don’t allow an excuse like “I can’t afford a gym membership” be the reason you don’t keep yourself in shape.
Be your own inner coach, and compassionately tell yourself the time for excuses is over. Whether you’re just trying to look better, or getting into shape for becoming a police officer , here is a free and easy routine to get you started.

30 jumping-jacks - you remember how to do these, and you can obviously do more than thirty, the whole point is to get your heart pumping.

5 push-ups - again, you can do more or less, or incorporate your favorite techniques. Learn how to do one properly here.

25 knee-highs - learn to do these here.

7 burpees - here is a great video of proper technique.

5 more push-ups

10 more crunches

5 more push-ups

7 squats -perfect your technique here. You can use a weight or not, depending on your skill level and equipment available.

5 more push-ups

25 more knee-highs

Repeat these exercises 3-5 times, everyday. You should do them first thing in the morning for a boost of energy all day.  Like I stated before, constancy is key. Be brave enough to force yourself through even when the initial boost of motivation fades.

You Should Abs-olutely Do Some Sit-Ups

Ab exercises are an essential part of any workout routine. People with less fat around their mid-sections enjoy a healthier happier life. Media puts a lot of pressure on us to have the perfect body. If you pursue overall health I guarantee you the aesthetics will all fall into place. Beyond the sex appeal of a toned midsection, the stomach is the center of the body, and having it strong supports a strong back, and so on supporting all areas of the body.
It's important to remember as you embark on any fitness routine to take it easy and listen to your body. Start with simple easy movements, and keep your focus on the technique and quality of each movement rather than the quantity of crunches you can do. This will help you see better results, as well as help prevent injury. Keep your movements fluid and slow, and support your back as much as possible. Also, make sure you warm up before this or any workout. As you progress, you can intensify your ab workout

Whatever reasons you have, they are all legitimate. As with any workout routine, the only key is consistency. Taking the time everyday to improve your personal fitness is a way to guarantee a healthier life. The video above will help you get started, but their are almost unlimited ways of working out your abs. Once you got that washboard, you can go to a christian tattoo artist and get that crucifixion scene you've always wanted but never had the body for.
Ab exercises are easy and don’t require any equipment to get started. Core health is the best thing you can do for yourself, since that’s where all our movement is centered, and is of the utmost importance for overall health and wellness.

Stretch For Life

Stretching is an important part of overall fitness. It protects us from injury, improves our range of motion, and helps us stay focused. Ask any FBI agent if they could do their job without stretching, and I sure hope they say "no". There are right ways and wrong ways to stretch out your body. Here are a few tips to get you started.

1. Learn the proper techniques. Following along with the video above is a good way to get used to stretching out. It can hurt or seem difficult at first, but as with anything else, practice makes perfect.

2. Consistency is key. You must stretch everyday if you want to see any changes in your flexibility.

3. Add muscle strength. It’s important to grow your muscles around your joints to help support them for the long haul.

Learn something new about fitness everyday to help you stay motivated. Start following a fitness blog like this, and you'll be reminded of fitness everyday. A good 5-10 minutes of stretching is recommended before and after you work-out, so always make sure you take the time to remember this crucial step!

Ways of Preventing Men’s Worst Nightmare: Sexual Impotence

Nothing is worse than living for many years with your domestic partner and realizing you can’t satisfy her anymore. It has nothing to do with love, otherwise you would still be able to do it, because that passion isn’t gone and it never will be – you just know it. You were simply made for each other. Heck, even your job fields are pretty similar: you’re a financial analyst and she is a database administrator.

However, if you don’t take measures against your erectile dysfunctions, your couple life might be seriously affected, since the sexual intercourse is needed on a regular basis, to keep the flame burning. It’s silly to say that a couple’s life only resumes to sex. It’s even sillier to say that sex isn’t important. Of course it’s important; it’s not the only thing that matters, but it’s definitely in the top 5 list of things which matter in the lives of the couples, right after loyalty, trust, love, devotion and communication. Ok, let’s say it’s in the top 6. But it is important nevertheless and the longer these erectile dysfunctions persist, the more you risk that she’ll get tired of you and start looking for pleasure in other places.

You don’t want something like that, you just…don’t. Not only because it would hurt your ego, but also because it would leave your heartbroken. There are ways you can fix this problem and one of the most important ones is to quit smoking. Actually, you should have quitted smoking long time ago, or better yet, you shouldn’t even have started it in the first place. If you never had a strong reason to stop smoking, the sexual impotence might just be it. The tobacco affects the blood vessels by narrowing them and provoking blockages which could leave you impotent.

Healthy heart, healthy sexual life. It’s important for you to have an exercise routine, especially cardio exercises, which are not only good for the functionality of the heart, but also for the functionality of the ‘other’ organ. A healthy lifestyle in general helps men regain their manhood in an easy and headache-less way, without the use of medicine. Just eat healthy and stay fit and you’re likely to get rid of the problems.

Also make sure you don’t have diabetes. If you have it and you also have an erectile dysfunction, it might be a sign that you’re not doing a great job treating your disease, so you might want to monitor the level of the sugar in your blood and keep this disease in control, to make sure that you don’t get any dysfunctions because of your negligence.

The sexual impotence is a problem that many have to deal with. There is nothing to be ashamed of, even if most of the men are. They refuse to talk about it, but maybe if they would just do it, it would help them safe. It’s a dysfunction which simply happens, but which can also be cured easier than we would imagine. All it takes is guts!
